Sound Of Silence began in 2010, and is a solo project from Asyraful Umam made ​​on moods, and creating tunes that tell stories.

This album is so subtle and very fine ambient music, much removed from alot of our releases. This album is alot more peaceful and shares nice electronic melodies which capture the spirit of playful music.

Asyraful really captures the mood here and this music is a great way to unwind after a hard day out in our relentless world.

While "Ideals of the Past" is a song about a lost someone very precious. "The feeling of loss that has inspired me to create songs. The goal is to remember and not have to live in it ".

Sound Of Silence dimulai sejak tahun 2010, dan merupakan sebuah projek solo dari Asyraful Umam yang dibuat berdasarkan suasana hati, dan menciptakan nada-nada yang bercerita.

Dalam proses penciptaan lagunya, Sound of Silence banyak terinspirasi dari apa yang dirasakan, pengalaman dan harapan.

“Lagu “Only dream” menceritakan mimpi yang saya alami. Dalam mimpi yang tampak begitu nyata itu, saya bisa memiliki sesuatu yang saya harapkan. Meski saya sadari, mimpi tersebut sepertinya mustahil untuk terwujud”. Ungkap Asyraful Umam mengenai lagu “only dream”.

Sementara “Ideals of the Past” adalah lagu yang berkisah tentang kehilangan seseorang yang sangat berharga. “Perasaan kehilangan yang dalam ini menginspirasi saya untuk membuat lagu. Tujuannya untuk mengenang dan tak perlu hidup didalamnya”.

Semua lagu dalam album ini dibalut dengan nuansa post-rock dan ambient, dan banyak terpengaruh oleh Explosions In The Sky.
